Dan Hoffstetter

Lead Pastor

Originally from the Allentown area, Dan’s passion for ministry moved him to Gloucester, MA where he received a Masters of Divinity and a Masters of Theology in Theology and Culture from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. While in school, he met and married Heidi in 2014, after mistakenly sitting in her seat one Sunday at church. After serving for 5 years as a pastor there, he and Heidi felt that the Lord was calling them to head back to do ministry closer to home and to be part of a new church plant in the Topton area.

After their first time at Jak’s Downtown Diner, they were hooked and promptly moved to Topton in October 2020 to begin planning for the launch of Redeemer Bible Fellowship Church. You can find them playing at the playground with their two kids, Madelyn and Calvin, reading down at the Market Café, or getting Ice Cream at Herman’s! He is excited to get to know and serve YOU and can’t wait to partner with you to see Topton, and the surrounding communities, grow and thrive!

Larry grew up in Emmaus and attended Bethel Bible Fellowship Church for most of his life. He and his wife, Michelle, were married in 1991, and they have 2 children (an adult son, Nick, and a daughter, Keira). Larry & Michelle served at Bethel until 2006 when God led them to work as missionaries with TEAM in Czech Republic. They worked as church planters in two different areas of Prague until they returned to the States in 2014. Larry continues to work with TEAM as a mentor for new missionaries and as the discipleship coordinator.

Following Larry's ordination in the Bible Fellowship Church, he and Michelle were looking for the next step God had for them. After meeting with Pastor Dan and hearing about the work in Topton, it became very clear that this is where God wanted them to serve. They are really excited to be a part of this church plant.

Steve is a Kutztown graduate who has lived in Berks county for most of his life and attended and served at New Life BFC for 20 years before being called into the church planting work at Redeemer BFC. He and his wife, Allie, and their four children (Jonah, Adria, Avery, and Silas) moved to the town of Topton in the fall of 2021 to be deeply connected to the community and serve the Lord in the work He is doing here!

Steve plays the guitar and drums (and a couple other instruments), and has led worship music since his early days of youth group while Allie has been involved in sound design and music and children's ministry for almost as many years. It is truly their joy to praise the Lord and serve His people!

Steve also has a passion for seeing youth choose to love and serve the Lord with their whole lives. He and the youth leadership team desire to help kids love Jesus, and are excited to see how the Lord will continue to grow Redeemer Youth!
