MISSIONS
As we build a culture of missions in the church, we pray that more will desire to be trained and equipped in missions and ultimately exhorted to go out as long-term missionaries all to the glory of God.
engage
"Build a culture of missions" through short term missions trips, through our focus on unreached and under-reached people groups, and through regular communication about God's kingdom work globally.
equip
"Training the church in missions" through regular prayer, through missions training opportunities, and as the Lord allows, equipping of new missionaries for the work to which God calls them.
exhort
"Sending the church to the world" through regular support of missionary partners and through the training of national workers for ministry in their home country and culture.
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
